Ruined it: Trump's first 50 days — the worst start to a presidential term since 2009 The first 50 days of Donald Trump's second presidential term can be characterized as a failure for the U.S. economy. Stock markets have suffered significant declines: the S&P 500 dropped by 6.4%, the Nasdaq Composite fell by 11%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased by 3.6%. The new president is confidently wrecking the stock market, crypto, and even egg prices.
